Mindfulness

“Peace is every step”
Thich Nhat Hanh
The Path of Thich Nhat Hanh
Our intention with this program is to offer workshops on the “Path of Mindfulness in Everyday Life.”
The monk Thich Nhat Hanh promotes the idea of realizing a tranquil heart and a clear mind. “To take hold of your mind”, he says, “you must practice mindfulness of the mind. You must know how to observe and recognize the presence of every feeling and thought which arises in you.”
One of the core purposes of the IJH´s mindfulness workshops is to fully understand the blessings that come along with a stronger awareness for the present moment. The credo is: “Every morning, when we wake up, we have twenty-four brand new hours to live. What a precious gift. We have the capacity to live in a way that these twenty-four hours will bring peace, joy and happiness to ourselves and others.”
The concept of Oneness
We offer several workshops on the understanding of the concept of “Oneness.”
“Oneness” is the recognition underlying the apparent multiplicity and diversity of existing living organisms and matter, that we all share one indivisible existence. For example, all seemingly separate rooms stem from one infinite and ever-present space, all seemingly separate individuals stem from one infinite and ever-present being. With this recognition we no longer get lost as an individual but can form a mind-body and world connection.
Other mindfulness programs include:
- The Middle Way as taught by the Buddha
- The Buddhist concept of karmic energy
